THE body of a woman who vanished last week has been pulled from a river just hours after her car was found abandoned.
Louise Brown, 41, was last seen on Wednesday afternoon in the Fulford area of York.

Officers recovered Louise's abandoned car on Skeldergate Bridge on Sunday.
North Yorkshire Police have now confirmed a member of the public discovered a body in the River Ouse yesterday.
The force said the body has been identified as Louise with her next of kin informed.

Earlier police had said her disappearance was "completely out of character". However, her death is not currently being treated as suspicious by police.
A huge search was launched after Louise vanished at 3pm on Wednesday.
Police divers were drafted in to help after her car was found on the bridge.
A spokesperson said: "Police searching for missing person Louise Brown have recovered a body from the River Ouse in York.
"The discovery was made yesterday afternoon (Monday 31 July 2023) by a member of the public.
"The body has been identified as missing person Louise Brown and Louise’s next of kin have been informed.
"Police are not currently treating Louise’s death as suspicious."
