In June 2020, Jimmie and Alexis tied the knot in a secret wedding, before having a second ceremony in Pennsylvania the following May.

Jimmie wrote a tribute to his wife on Instagram in January 2022: "Your patience and love is God like.

"There are days where I'm so frustrated and exhausted but you remind me of my purpose and give me a push to keep going."

Amid their separation, Jimmie and Alexis are expecting a third child sometime in late 2023.

Jimmie continued: "As we navigate this life change, we can also share that we will be welcoming another child together later this year.

According to court documents exclusively obtained by The U.S. Sun, the country singer and his now-ex filed for divorce in Nashville on April 28, 2023.

They both cite "irreconcilable differences" as the grounds for divorce and list the date of separation as the date of filing.

According to PEOPLE, the couple is working on their future together as a team despite their announced divorce in April 2023.

Jimmie stated: "The divorce case is still pending, as my wife and I are working to resolve things together as a family.

"What I meant by ‘fixing my family first,’ was making sure their mental health and stability are OK in light of these hurtful, false allegations.

"I took some time off to be with my wife, kids, and friends, to ensure everyone was OK."

How many children do they have?

Jimmie and Alexis have two children together, Naomi and Zara, and another baby on the way.

“My life has been turned inside out because of Jimmie Allen.”

Jimmie has denied the accusations, calling them "deeply troubling and hurtful" and admitted to having a sexual relationship with the woman, but claimed it was consensual.

He wrote an apology statement on Instagram to his estranged partner that read: “I want to publicly apologize to my wife, Alexis, for humiliating her with my affair.

"I’m embarrassed that my choices have brought shame on her."

He continued: "This business takes so much from you. It’s full of temptations that can cripple you and ruin everything you’ve built."
