FORMER Sun journalist Siddy Shivdasani has died aged 51.

He began his career in 1994 with The South London Press, moving to The Voice and Eastern Eye.

Siddy joined The Sun as a news sub-editor in 2002 after working at the News of the World.

He quickly established himself as a talented member of our subbing team, particularly when it came to dreaming up headline ideas.

Siddy was a loving and funny dad, keen Arsenal fan, author and a popular workmate with many friends in the newsroom.

Siddy is survived by former wife Randip and their daughter Nanaki, 11.
