A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a woman.
The 58-year-old was collared by cops after the tragedy in Hereford, Herefordshire, on Friday night.
The woman, also 58, was found seriously wounded at home at around 5.10pm on Friday,
She was rushed to hospital but medics were unable to save her.
Cops have since arrested a man on suspicion of murder.

Detective Chief Inspector Gareth Lougher of West Mercia Police said : "Our thoughts are with the family of the woman who sadly lost her life.
“I understand that incidents of this nature can be alarming but would like to reassure the local community that there is no wider risk to the public.
“Our officers remain at the scene, and you may see an increased police presence in the area over the coming days as our investigation continues.”
It comes as police launched a murder investigation after a woman was found dead at a home following reports of a "dispute".
The victim passed away at the property in Sprotbrough, Doncaster, on Saturday after she was fatally stabbed.
South Yorkshire Police said she was pronounced dead shortly after being wounded at the property on Main Street.
Officers were called to the scene at around 8pm amid reports of a "dispute" taking place inside the home.
They then tragically discovered the woman's lifeless body.
Cops arrested a 52-year-old man at the scene on suspicion of murder following the incident.
