It promises to be a 'prime ministerial memoir like no other' - but will YOU be reading Boris Johnson's new book?

The as-yet-untitled publication is expected to delve into his appointment as Foreign Secretary in 2016, the beginning of his premiership recounting his 2019 election landslide, the Brexit deal, the Government response to the 2020 pandemic as well as Russia's invasion of the Ukraine.

The memoir will also shed new light on BoJo's downfall, and won't shy away from the scandals he faced, ultimately leading to his resignation from Number 10 last year.

Publisher HarperCollins have not disclosed how much the former PM was paid for the book, but industry insiders told The Guardian last year the Uxbridge and South Ruislip MP could expect 'a high six-figure or even a seven-figure deal'.

Arabella Pike, publishing director at William Collins, an imprint of HarperCollins UK, described the book as 'a prime ministerial memoir like no other' and said: “I look forward to working with Boris Johnson as he writes his account of his time in office during some of the most momentous events the United Kingdom has seen in recent times."
