The Formula 1 season continues on Sunday, with the Hungarian Grand Prix in Budapest the penultimate race before the summer break.
Max Verstappen is in imperious form at present, with his six successive wins pushing him towards the current benchmark set by Sebastian Vettel in 2011 of nine victories in a row. Last time out he was pushed hard by Lando Norris, but this weekend's race should be well suited towards the Dutchman.
Budapest is a technical track, suiting the Red Bulls after the high-speed Silverstone circuit having hampered their dominance last time out. Verstappen's team-mate Sergio Perez has failed to reach Q3 in five successive races and the Mexican will need a strong performance here as Daniel Ricciardo's return to the grid poses a threat to his seat for next season.
Lewis Hamilton continued his consistent season in his home race last time out with a podium, but will face a tough ask to continue his strong record at the circuit. The seven-time world champion has won the race eight times, a record for the circuit, but will need to hope for a mistake or reliability issue from the Red Bulls to extend this record.
His task has been made even harder by Red Bull ahead of the weekend, with the defending constructors' champions having brought their second side pod upgrade of the season to Hungary. This should increase their pace even further as 29 degree heat on Sunday could cause reliability and overheating issues across the grid.
