A triple-shooting incident outside an ice house left one person dead, a pregnant woman injured, and another man wounded.

Houston Police Department rushed to the scene, in southeast Houston early Sunday morning at around 1:38am. According to preliminary reports, the shooting appears to have been triggered by a heated argument, although the specific nature of the dispute remains unclear at this time.

Upon arriving at the scene, located in the 4600 block of Almeda Genoa, police discovered two victims, a man, and a pregnant woman, both of whom had been shot.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. Family identified him as 29-year-old Donald James, ABC13 reports His mother told the publication that he was a father to five children.

This is the second incident of a pregnant woman being shot in Houston in the last month. In July, Autumn Vallian, 21, was shot dead after an evil gunman opened fire at a birthday party at Margaret Jenkins Park in South Houston, Texas. Her mother, Ebony Vallian, said her daughter knew the suspects.

In today's shooting, investigators later learned of a vehicle that had arrived at a separate hospital bearing multiple bullet holes. The vehicle was occupied by several men, one of whom had sustained gunshot injuries during the incident at the ice house.

The Houston Police Department's detectives are presently interviewing the men who accompanied the third victim to the hospital.

Lt. J.P. Horelica. said: "In this moment, we lack information about the medical condition of the third victim, and officers are actively at the hospital, engaging with the other three individuals who were inside the vehicle."

As of now, no suspect has been apprehended, and the suspect is still at large. Authorities are encouraging anyone with knowledge about the case to come forward and assist in the investigation.

"They killed my son. They killed my baby, and I want justice," James' mother, Rosa James, said told reporters at the scene, "He was a good person. Kind-hearted. Everything."
