A 26-year-old woman has been accused of kidnapping and killing a dentist she was dating.
Jorgelys Bárbara Viloria Martínez is alleged to have murdered Christian Gerardo Quispe Culqui.
His body was found in Lurín, Lima Province, Peru, on April 26 this year, with Viloria arrested in her home country of Venezuela on 21 July.
The suspect, who had been living in Peru for several years, is believed to have known the victim through her work with a medical company.
She then became the dentist’s client and they entered into a relationship.

The victim’s father, Lucio Quispe confirmed they were romantically involved and alleges she helped “kidnap” his son.
According to the police, the suspect was a member of a criminal gang and had tattoos on her arm and neck related to the group.
The authorities were later able to identify her due to her distinctive tattoos.

Meanwhile, the dentist discovered that she had a partner in Chile and decided to end their relationship.
He was abducted on April 18 and his family members started to receive ransom demands from gang members.
Six days later, his body was found by the side of a highway with two shots to the head and two in the chest.
The suspects had emptied his bank accounts using his cards.
After the murder, Viloria allegedly fled to Aragua State in Venezuela where she is believed to have changed her appearance.
Jorgelys is currently being held at a prison in Caracas (Jam Press)Colonel, Carlos López, head of Interpol in Peru, said: “She is the main suspect involved. She had already been identified by her tattoos and was considered a fugitive.

“We have permanent communication with the Interpol National Central Offices in Caracas (Venezuelan capital) and they finally told us that they located her.”
López said the police found Viloria in a house in Aragua after her mother claimed that she was now living in Chile.
The official added that she is currently being held at a prison in Caracas while the extradition process is being handled.
He said: “She faces nine months in a preventive prison because this very serious crime of kidnapping and murder comes with a sentence of life imprisonment.
“We have already informed the court in San Juan de Lurigancho (Lima, Peru) of her capture and they are in charge of starting the extradition process.”
The victim’s father said: “In a certain way, this puts us at ease because I know that Interpol, the police, judges and prosecutors are working hard. They are doing their job.”
The investigation into Quispe’s murder is ongoing.
