Helen Skelton is reportedly dating again and is ready for "things that excite her", after separating from ex-husband Richie Myler last year.
The English TV presenter announced the couple's split in April 2022, taking to Instagram to confirm the news with her online fans. Skelton, 40, and Leeds Rhinos rugby player, Myler, had welcomed their third child, Elsie, four months before ending the marriage.
It has since been reported that Skelton is now seeing new people, in the hope of finding "new adventures" rather than another life partner. According to an inside source, the Countryfile host is "reluctantly dipping her toe back into the dating pool" but has no plans to commit to marriage any time soon.
"After her trust was broken, she’s nowhere near ready for an all-in long-term romance," they told OK! "But she’s not closing herself off to anything anymore. She’s open to new adventures in all respects and is making it her aim to say ‘yes’ to more things that excite her."

Along with baby Elsie, Skelton and Richie are also mum and dad to sons Ernie, 7, and five-year-old Louis.

Earlier this month, the Strictly Come Dancing star put their Yorkshire family home up for sale: "Helen has moved on with her life and feels it’s time to start with a clean slate," a source told the Mirror. "She’s put the house they shared on the market and is looking for a new place she can move to with the kids in the coming months."

"I kept sneaking back to see it. I knew there was no one living there," she said at the time. "We looked at other houses but they didn’t have that special something. This one did."
Myler, 33, went public with his relationship with his new partner Stephanie Thirkill just one month after his separation from Helen. He has since welcomed a baby with the 32-year-old, who is the daughter of Andrew Thirkill, one of Leeds' most affluent business owners.
