Who was Pippa Ross in Home and Away?
Pippa is known as the daughter of Bert and Coral King in Home and Away.
She married her brother Danny's army mate Tom Fletcher in 1969 and they went on to foster Frank Morgan in 1978 after his parents Les were incapable of looking after him.
As time went on they continued to take in more children from various homes and institutions.

Pippa and Tom were married for quite some time and had their own ups and downs, including accusations of affairs.
However, they managed to work it our until Tom suddenly passed away from a heart attack in April 1990.
What happened to Pippa and Michael in Home and Away?
In October 1990, Michael Ross moved to Summer Bay and rented a caravan from Pippa in the Caravan Park.
After initially feeling guilty about her attraction to Michael and her guilt over moving on from Tom, they became an item.
They tied the knot in April 1991 and Michael's teenage son Haydn joined the family.
The new couple carried on fostering children together.
However, their marriage seemed to go downhill from there as they went on to have multiple difficult times.
Pippa and Michael went on to have a son called Dale but he passed away from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome just two months later.
They then ran into financial problems which only got worse when Haydn ripped them off and left them with a sizeable debt.
Their relationship nearly ended in late 1994, with Michael moving out for a short while.

However, with the help of some marriage counselling, they managed to sort their problems out and got back together again.
But this wasn't to last as in April 1996, Michael drowned while saving Sam who had fallen into a heavily flooded river.
Why did first the first actress to play Pippa leave Home and Away?
Originally actress Vanessa Downing played the role of Pippa, making her debut during the pilot episode broadcast on January 17, 1988.
However, she left in 1990 when the role was picked up by Debra Lawrance.
It's not known why Downing decided to leave the role.
