Brian McFadden will be "fuming" after his ex Kerry Katona called him a "s**t dad", according to reports.
The mum-of-five, 42, made the comments during the recent On A Mission podcast when she claimed the Westlife star "f****d off to Australia", leaving her to look after daughters, Molly and Lilly-Sue. She also said Brian, 43, was a much better father to his two-year-old daughter Ruby, who he shares with fiancée Danielle Parkinson.
Speaking about the Irish singer's reaction to Kerry's claims, a source said: "Brian will be fuming. He cares about what people think about him and this wont' have gone down well even though it [the divorce] happened a long time ago."
They continued: "Kerry still has heartache over Brian. She's not bitter, she's moved on. But she's being honest about what she experienced," reports new magazine.

Suggesting the last thing she wants is to put strain on the relationship between Brian and their daughters, she wrote in her OK! Magazine column: "I really want to clear things up after recent headlines about me calling my ex Brian McFadden a 's**t dad' in a podcast. I was with him a million years ago and wish nothing but the best for him and his family. I wasn’t saying it in a bad way or to be vindictive.

"While he wasn’t a good father to Molly and Lilly, he’s now grown up and is an amazing dad to his daughter Ruby. I don’t want to cause awkwardness between my girls and their dad and wish him the best. I’m true to myself and my story, and he’s part of that. I don’t want to be nasty. I’m on a different journey now."
After Kerry's comments, Brian took to Instagram penning a moving message to his first born., Molly, with the caption: ""Happy birthday to my beautiful daughter Molly. 22 today. I’m so very proud of you. Your talents are inspiring. I love you and enjoy your day and break before the misery of new term starts again. xxx." Molly replied: "Thank you, love you xxx."
However, last year, Brian acknowledged that being in Westlife meant he had "no time" for Molly and Lilly when they were little. Speaking about his experience in the boy band, he said: "We didn't have FaceTime or video calls then so I missed so much of them, their first steps, their first words. I missed so much of that."
When contacted by the Mirror, Brian's reps said he had no comment.
