I’M so excited to share my favourite recipes with you in this new air fryer recipe column over the next four weeks.
If, like me, you’re crazy for this latest gadget, you’ll love these meals the family can share.

There are easy eats, like this pizza, through to a tasty midweek chicken parmigiana (my husband Wayne’s favourite) – and even some delicious choc chip cookies, which my kids love.
They’re all easy enough to whip up when you’re short of time, and better on the pocket than using a conventional oven.
My pizza is perfect when the kids have play dates, and the sausage rolls will go down a treat in lunch boxes now they’re back at school. Happy air frying!

Air fryer pizza

Makes 2
Prep time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 15 minutes
YOU NEED:
- 100g self-raising flour, plus extra for dusting
- 90g Greek yoghurt
- Pinch of salt
- 2 tbsp tomato purée
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 2 slices cooked ham
- 50g mozzarella
- ¼ red onion, finely sliced
- ¼ bell pepper, finely sliced
METHOD: In a bowl, combine the flour, yoghurt and salt. Mix until it forms a dough – it’s easiest to use your hands here to bring the dough together. If the mixture is quite sticky, add a little more flour.
Split the dough in half. Sprinkle some flour on to your work surface, then using a rolling pin, roll out each dough ball to create your pizza base.
Roll out to the thickness of a £1 coin – just be mindful of the size of your air fryer, as you’ll need to lie the pizza across the bottom of the basket.
Place a sheet of greaseproof paper at the bottom of your air fryer basket. Lie the pizza base on top, then cook on 200C for two minutes each side. Depending on the size of the air fryer, you’ll need to cook the pizzas in batches.
Meanwhile, to make your pizza base sauce simply combine the tomato purée, olive oil, garlic powder and oregano.
Spread the sauce over the pizza base, then add your remaining toppings.

Cook for a further five minutes, then serve up and enjoy.
Chicken & cranberry sausage rolls

Makes 18-20
Prep time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 16 minutes
YOU NEED:
- 10 chicken sausages
- 70g cranberry sauce
- 1 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped
- 375g pack ready-to-roll puff pastry
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tbsp nigella seeds
METHOD: Using a knife, de-skin the sausages. Place the meat into a large bowl, add the cranberry sauce and thyme and season well. Mix until fully combined. Unroll the pastry, cut length ways to create two strips.
Spoon the sausage meat down the centre of each strip. Roll the pastry over until it meets the other side, then cut each strip into ten pieces.
Place the rolls spaced out on to baking trays. Brush each with egg yolk and sprinkle over the nigella seeds.
Place a sheet of greaseproof paper into the air fryer basket and put a layer of sausage rolls on top. You will need to cook in batches. Cook on 180C for 14-16 minutes, until cooked through and golden.
Repeat for remaining batches.
