SCREW viewers had divisive views on season 2 of the Channel 4 show's finale.
The series focuses on the wardens and the inmates in a gritty prison.
Screw is written by Bafta-nominated screenwriter Rob Williams.
The series is not based on a true story but it is inspired by Rob's experience of working and volunteering in a prison.
The show's finale sparked heated debate among viewers, who took to X to vent.

One wrote: "Disappointing, politicised ending to Screw on Channel 4. I assume the Minister was supposed to be Suella Braverman but it just came across as clumsy."
Another penned: "Screw can’t end like that! Will there be a series 3?"
A third added: "NEEEEEEED A SEASON 3 of Screw on Channel 4 please."
The show is set in the fictional jail, Long Marsh prison.
Rob revealed that the drama was shot in Scotland, with most of the filming taking place in Glasgow.
Speaking about series two, Rob told Channel 4: "The serial element grows where, with series one, the story of the week was bigger, although we've absolutely tried to explore different aspects of prison life in each episode as well – things like the well-trodden care-to-prison pathway and romantic relationships in prison.
"The tone has shifted as a result. There is still humour there, but it's probably lower in the mix."
