Actress and comedian Ellie Taylor is expecting her second child

Snog, Marry Avoid star and Ted Lasso actress Ellie Taylor has revealed she is pregnant with her second child.

The Strictly Come Dancing star shared the news with a sweet snap of her daughter kissing her bump. Ellie captioned the post: "Excited. Terrified. Grateful. Hungry."

Alongside the picture, Ellie shared a message to those who may find it "weird" to see her post images of her pregnancy journey. She wrote: "Pregnancy has been a funny old topic for me over the last few years and I've sometimes found it tricky following prego people online.

"For anyone in a similar headspace, if the idea of the inevitable baby spam that will follow makes you feel a bit weird, then I lovingly encourage you to be kind to your brainbox and mute or unfollow me. I hope you'll be back but whatever your situation, I wish you love and clarity as you continue to navigate your own journey."

Friends and fans rushed to congratulate the couple as this year's Strictly Come Dancing contestant Angela Scanlon wrote: "Congratulations!!! So happy for you xxx," and broadcaster Lucy Horobin said: "Yesss! This is the BEST news! Congrats from a fellow preggo tubster! (Also hungry ALLL the time) xxx."

Fellow Strictly allumni Ellie Simmonds commented: "Congratulations. So so happy for you xx," and Ashley James said: "Massive congratulations, here if you need anything."

Ellie and her husband Phil Black, an international news correspondent, married in 2014 and welcomed their five-year-old daughter Valentina four year later. The couple choose to keep their daughter out of the spotlight, posting rare photos of the youngest with her face covered.

The actress and comedian took part in Strictly Come Dancing last year and was partnered with Ballroom and Latin dancer Johannes Radebe. She became the ninth celebrity to be eliminated from the series after going up against Fleur East and Vito Coppola in the dance-off.

Ellie subsequently revealed to Lorraine Kelly that her young daughter was "annoyed that she'd been booted off the show as she had got "really into it".

"She knows all the judges’ names,’ Ellie told the Scottish presenter at the time. "She has a lot of opinions and she is quite annoyed I won’t win. Not sad, but because she wanted the Glitterball."
