LEEDS legend Paul Robinson wants Ange Postecoglou headhunted as their next boss.
The Elland Road strugglers sacked American Jesse Marsch yesterday.
Now bookies have the Celtic gaffer as a leading contender — and former England No 1 Robinson says the Aussie should top the list for club chiefs.
He said: “I know there has been talk of Carlos Corberan at West Brom, but I personally would love to see Postecoglou come down from Celtic.
“They have to get somebody who hits the ground running.

“People talk about someone who knows the league inside out and know the players.
“But for me it has to be a man-manager.”
Robinson added: “I think it would be a very difficult time to get Postecoglou obviously, as it’s looking like they’re going to win the league again and another trophy for him up there.
“But I think of his man-management skills and the way he’s adapted himself to the Scottish Premier League and the trophies he’s won.
“He’s got Harry Kewell as his assistant up there, so there is a link already.
“I think it’s only going to be a matter of time before he does come to the Premier League and I’d love to see Leeds push the boat out and go and get him now.”
Marsch was axed after just 49 weeks in the job with Leeds just one place outside the Premier League’s relegation slots.
He claimed TV character Ted Lasso had failed to help the reputation of American coaches in Europe.
But he didn’t do much on that front himself.
There was a sense of relief among Leeds fans that the club swung the axe after a winless run of seven games.

Their feeble 1-0 defeat at Nottingham Forest on Sunday was the last straw. Marsch was just 22 days away from celebrating his first anniversary as Leeds boss.
When taking over from Marcelo Bielsa, the Whites were in 16th spot, two points above the relegation zone.
Now they’re 17th and only above Everton on goal difference.
Marsch was the third American to manager in England’s top flight.
Bob Bradley suffered a nightmare spell at Swansea, while German-born David Wagner — now at Norwich — won promotion at Huddersfield and kept them up before being axed.
Marsch had made his name as a coach working his way up through the Red Bull franchises, first at New York before graduating to Salzburg for two years and then RB Leipzig.
After Leeds recruited him following his spell in the Bundesliga, he insisted this season would be a “stress-free environment”, but that hasn’t been the case.
They weren’t helped by star striker Patrick Bamford’s injury woes, but the club gave Marsch their backing in the January transfer window.
They signed Servette centre-back Diogo Monteiro on deadline day, 24 hours after Weston McKennie moved from Juventus.
Max Wober and Georginio Rutter had already signed from Red Bull Salzburg and Hoffenheim respectively.
Two weeks ago, Marsch said: “On the inside, our confidence is moving absolutely forward and for me, I’m at the highest belief since coming here.”
