A WOMAN has been praised for sharing the clever way she nabbed nearly £700 worth of products from Wilko for just £60.

Megan took to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group on Facebook to share pictures of her epic haul, as well as how exactly she managed to secure such incredible discounts.

"Pays to keep very close eye on reduced items," she began.

"I remember missing out when everyone had the reduced items in Wilko and I didn’t get any I signed up to stock notifications and never thought anymore of it."

She then received an email stating that a few things were back in stock, and then "spent hours typing in to Google 'Wilko dove, Wilko Lynx, Wilko L’Oréal, Wilko fuzzy duck set, Wilko gift set'."

"Basically anything I could think of," Megan explained.

"I tried so many links from Google which weren’t in stock then would find random ones that where.

"When searching on there website there was nothing at all as cheap as this so I didn’t expect to actually get the products I thought it’d be an error."

And when the parcel arrived, some of the boxes were "bashed", but Megan admitted she was "amazed" by the haul.

In total, she spent £60.35 on 61 items with a RRP of £696.

Among the things she managed to get her hands on were some L'Oreal sets, which had been reduced from £26 each to just £1 each.

A Dove Daily Care gift set with charging pad was also just £1 instead of its previous £18, while she also got two Garnier Vitamin C sets for £1 each instead of £20 each.

People were quick to comment on the post, with one writing: "Very lucky, can't see any of them in stock now."

"Sign up to stock notifications love, that’s all I done," Megan replied.

"To sign up there was an add stock notification box on them I then added email keep checking as sometimes it pops on and off," she added in response to another comment.

"Wow well done you!!!! That's bdays and Xmas sorted for you!" another added.

As a third commented: "Wow that dedication certainly paid off. Congratulations."

Others weren't quite as complimentary, with some slamming Megan for clearing the stock herself.

"When people post an offer but they bought the lot so it’s out of stock," one wrote, alongside laughing crying emojis.
