A women was arrested in Florida after allegedly attacking a couple she believed were carrying out "inappropriate stretches" by a swimming pool.

Amanda Ferragamo, 41, accused the pair of performing inappropriate activities and shoved and smacked the female victim, according to Sumter County Sheriff's Office. As a result, the woman was left with a red mark on her face - suggesting she was hit - while the man was also struck.

The female victim told police deputies: "She f***ing attacked us. She's pissed." The incident happened during the early morning of last Sunday in Lady Lake, Sumter County, located around 50 miles north-west of Orlando.

A woman described how she and the male victim were doing stretches when the accused smacked and shoved them both. The affidavit reads: "The female victim then stated that the defendant accused them both of doing inappropriate activities and began to shove her and smacked her across her face.

"The female victim has a red mark on her face indicating she was hit as well.” Ferragamo was arrested on September 17 and charged with two accounts of domestic battery.

Although the names of the victims and exact location have not been released, police indicated the male victim and were 'linked'. No further details were given about their connection.

It had been described as a 'domestic incident'. Ferragamo was being kept at the Sumter County Detention Center without bond and has since been released, reported the MailOnline.

Prior to this incident, the Fruitland Park resident does not have any criminal charges to her name. Her case is expected to go on trial at the Sumter County Court - although a date has yet to be set.

Lady Lake, a town in Lake County is popularly known as the 'Home of Lakes and Sunshine' and has has a population of around 20,000.
