Several WWE superstars have memorialised the passing of the late Bray Wyatt, also known as Windham Rotunda, by getting tattoos of the wrestler's firefly logo.
Since the unexpected and tragic passing of Wyatt due to a heart attack, multiple WWE superstars, including Braun Strowman, Karrion Kross, and Shotzi, went to get Wyatt's firefly logo tattooed onto them before WWE's Friday Night Smackdown program, which also honoured the wrestler.
Kross's wife, Scarlet Bordeaux, also a WWE talent, posted the group of stars at DeepSearch tattoo parlour in Clarksville, Indiana, on her Instagram stories. Kross, Shotzi, Stroman, and WWE's head of long-term creative plans, Rob Fee, worked closely with Wyatt and were all shown getting new ink.
Wyatt introduced Strowman's character during a live episode of Monday Night Raw on Aug. 24, 2015. He was unveiled as the "black sheep" of the Wyatt family, a faction already comprised of Wyatt, Erick Rowan, and the late Luke Harper, whose real name was Broadie Lee. Lee passed away in Dec. 2020, just ten days after his 41st birthday, from a condition that causes lung issues to thicken until they can no longer function.
Other WWE Superstars, including World Heavyweight champion Seth Rollins, Alexa Bliss, and AEW's Miro, all paid tribute to Rotunda personally after being unable to appear on his tribute show. His impact on the wrestling world goes beyond WWE. Buddy Matthews paid tribute to Wyatt by carrying the firefly lantern during AEW's "All In" PPV. The lantern was blown out, leaving the room in total darkness, lit only by cellphones resembling the fireflies that inspired his logo.

Premier League club Arsenal also paid a tribute to Wyatt by playing his signature theme song, "Broken Out In Love" by Mark Crozer, during the halftime of their matchup against Fulham on Aug. 26. The match resulted in a 2-2 draw. AEW owner Tony Khan is the son of Shahid Khan, who owns Fulham and the NFL's Jacksonville Jaguars.
Wyatt tragically passed away at age 36. Paul "Triple H" Levesque, WWE's chief content officer and head of creative, shared the tragic information on social media last Thursday. Fightful, a trusted wrestling publication, listed a heart attack as the cause of death. However, none of his family members have confirmed any details.

Rotunda was engaged to WWE talent Jojo Offerman prior to his passing. She made her reality television debut in 2013 on the WWE program "Total Divas" and worked as a ring announcer and wrestler on Monday Night Raw. Offerman has understandably yet to publically comment on her fiancee's death.
