Mick Appleby has revealed his intention to debut at the Breeders Cup with star juvenile Big Evs.
The Rutland handler is gearing the rest of his two-year-old's campaign around a trip to Santa Anita in November. Appleby feels a sun-soaked surface in America will be ideal for his first Royal Ascot winner.
"We've never had a runner at the Breeders Cup and it would be exciting to go with Big Evs," he said.
"After he won at Goodwood we were approached by the organisers. The plan is to have one more run here before the Juvenile Turf Sprint. He's a strong horse – a fast five furlongs on quick ground would be perfect for him."
Appleby set the overseas target after checking Big Evs over, following his run at York's Ebor Festival. The Nunthorpe's supplemented runner ran below market expectations, while bidding to become the first two-year-old since 2007 to triumph.

Big Evs was up with the early pace set by surprise 28-1 winner Live In The Dream, but he faded out of contention with Andrea Atzeni aboard.
"The horse is absolutely fine, we have checked him over and will just put a line through it," Appleby added. "It might have come a bit soon after his win at Goodwood. We will freshen him up and hopefully he will bounce back."
Meanwhile Aidan O'Brien's multiple Group One scorer Paddington is set for a short break, after Mostahdaf halted his recent golden spell. Ballydoyle's leader said the defeated Juddmonte International favourite will be aimed at Ascot's Champions Day fixture on October 21.
