POLICE have launched an urgent probe after a woman was found dead in a river.
The tragic discovery was made in Worcestershire's River Severn around midday yesterday.

West Mercia Police said: "Officers recovered a woman's body from the River Severn in Kempsey, Worcestershire on Wednesday, October 4.

"Formal identification is yet to take place, but the death is not being treated as suspicious. A report is being prepared for the coroner."
