Russell Brand's dad posts shocking Facebook rant 'attacking son's accusers'

RUSSELL Brand’s dad has shared a bizarre Facebook rant which appears to attack the women accusing his son of sexual misconduct.

Ron Brand, 80, posted the video on Wednesday night, just days after it was announced his son is now the focus of a second criminal inquiry.

It has received thousands of likes and comments, many approving what is being said.

The video bizarrely appears to claim a “matrix” — as well as a media conspiracy — is behind the claims against comedian Brand, 48.

The video says: “Russell Brand called out the matrix... rape charge. Trump called out the matrix, rape charge.

“When you’re on top and you get money and swag and options you never need to rape anybody.”

Tory MP Nigel Mills said: “This is just dreadful. It’s a shocking rant. shows social media can be a cesspit.”

Ron Brand and Facebook were asked to comment.
