HAPPY Mondays star Shaun Ryder says Hormone Replacement Therapy “changed my life”.
The 61-year-old once admitted “trying every drug around” but now uses testosterone gel to boost libido and energy.

The dad of six said the so-called “male menopause” was real, adding: “I was tired all the time, could barely be bothered leaving the house.
“My libido was gone and I was miserable.
“A routine blood test showed my testosterone levels were at zero.”

Around 14 years ago he was given supplements, and now goes “absolutely mental” when he forgets.
He added: “I forgot to put on my testosterone gel, and as any woman who's gone through the menopause will know, if you forget your stuff you go absolutely mental.
“If I haven’t got my testosterone gel, I can’t speak.
"I can’t leave the house, I can’t make eye contact.”
Low testosterone — called “Low T” — is estimated to affect one in four men in Britain.
