A TEACHER was stabbed to death by a knifeman shouting "Allahu Akbar" in a terror attack after calls for an international "Day of Jihad".

Dominique Bernard, a literature teacher in his 40s, was brutally killed at a high school in Arras, France, by the fanatic who also left two others fighting for their lives.

It came after a former Hamas leader Khaled Meshaal called for "Day of Jihad" following the ongoing bloodshed in Israel.

Elsewhere, an Israeli diplomat was brutally stabbed in the street in a vicious attack China.

And meanwhile, in Jordan, there were violent clashes between protesters and police as cops teargassed crowds heading for the border with Israel.

Protests have also exploded worldwide in support of Palestine.

And there have also been demonstrations by Jewish communities around the world in solidarity with Israel.

The horrific incident in France is currently being investigated by French anti-terror cops.

The attacker is alleged to be a 19-year-old "ISIS terrorist" and Chechen refugee named Mohamed Mogouchkov.

He allegedly murdered Bernard at the high school he attended in Arras, Lycée Gambetta Carnot.

According to multiple reports, Mogouchkov shouted "Allahu Akhbar" before using two knives to stab up to five victims.

An anti-terrorism investigation has been launched on charges including "assassination in relation to a terrorist enterprise".

French president Emmanuel Macron visited the scene of the killing on Friday.

"Terrorism strikes once again in a school, and in a context that we all know," he said.

And it comes after France officially banned pro-Palestinian rallies as Macron had called for calm amid fears of civil unrest.

Hamas' former leader earlier called for Friday to be a global day of rage against supporters of Israel.

Meshaal urged his "brothers and sisters" in Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, and Egypt to rally around their Palestinian brethren and "head to the squares and streets of the Arab and Islamic world" on the Day of Jihad.

Israel's foreign ministry confirmed an Israeli embassy worker was hospitalised but "in a stable condition" after being attacked in Beijing on Friday.

They said the motive for the assault was "being looked into".

Horrific videos circulating on social media appeared to show a man being stabbed several times in the shoulder and chest by another man wielding a knife.

The victim fell to the ground and the attacker continued to stab him, leaving a large splattering of blood.

With a limp arm and a bloody face, the victim managed to stand and get away from his attacker, who was then seen to collect a backpack and walk away.

Meanwhile, Jordanian police fired tear gas at protesters marching toward the West Bank border in solidarity with Palestinians.

Footage shared online showed large crowds of people walking to the Israel-Jordan border, waving Palestinian flags.

One clip appeared to depict Jordan citizens scaling the barricade between them and Israel, while another showed them on the ground and covering their faces after police deployed tear gas.

No explicit link has been made between the incidents.

France's Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin confirmed Mogouchkov was a former pupil at the Gambetta high school.

Both the 19-year-old and his brother, who was with him at the time of the attacks, were arrested by police.

The siblings were known to security services and were supposed to be under surveillance.

Mogouchkov was reportedly a known ISIS-symphathiser, while his brother spent 18 months in prison for distributing ISIS propaganda online.

One teacher who taught Mogouchkov in his final year "three years ago" described him as a "reserved, calm student with whom I had completely normal conversations".

Another, who asked not to be named, said he hid behind a glass door when the 19-year-old showed up at the school and started questioning him.

He recalled: "He turned to me and said, 'Are you a history teacher? Are you a history teacher?'

"It was only when I left that I was able to see that the attack was much more serious than I thought. Someone was dead in front of the school."

Two teachers, including a sports teacher, and a school security guard were among the alleged victims, with one injured and one in a state of "absolute emergency", according to Le Parisien.

An emergency services spokesman confirmed on Friday afternoon that two survivors of the attack were in intensive care.

They are both understood to be staff members; no pupils were hurt.

A high school student told Le Parisien the incident started about 11am Friday morning.

The teenager said he received a video of the suspect entering the school while he was in a meeting room and described the situation as "extremely confused".

Local police confirmed there had been a knife attack and regional authorities confirmed the attacker was arrested.

Israel's military has today warned more than one million people to evacuate as it prepares to unleash its troops into Gaza.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed to crush Hamas terrorists after gunmen stormed over the border and brutally shot down men, women and children.
