The Last of Us viewers say they are "traumatised" after Sunday's second episode on HBO – despite "knowing exactly what was coming".
Players of the hit-video game still seem to be enjoying the brand-new television series, despite loosely knowing the twists and turns.
Spoiler alert, last night's episode saw the death of Tess after she was bitten by a Clicker, a twist that ever so slightly differed from the playable game.
"That last scene with Tess was traumatizing.. made my stomach turn," Tweeted one fan. "Second episode was awesome, follows up the first one perfectly."
"We knew the Tess scene was coming," said another, seemingly as equally upset. A third wrote: "The way they managed to make tess's death 10x more worse."

Fans have been 'traumatised' by Tess' death in episode two (HBO)Tess' death scene finished as she locked lips with a Clicker, some fans have been quick to defend the slight change from the video game's scene.
One said: "Alot of people didn’t understand this scene and it shows. Is it absolutely disturbing? F**k yeah but they weren’t 'making out' this is how they get connected all together.
"Tess died heroic and did way more than in the game. And its way more realistic!"
In the show, Tess ends up getting infected after being bitten earlier in the episode. She tells characters Joel and Ellie and urges them both to continue without her.
They end up swarmed by a giant group of infected and Tess decides to stay behind to help Joel and Ellie escape – one locks on to Tess before she sets fire to the building using a lighter.
Sunday's episode is slightly different to the video game (HBO)In the game her death is similar, but what kills her is completely different. Instead of blowing herself up, she dies as the hands of The Federal Disaster Response Agency.
She attempts to kill as many as possible, before dying off-screen. The gameplay shows Joel overlooking the lobby as it's confirmed Tess has been killed.
