Tess Daly
Tess Daly's real name is Helen Elizabeth DalyTess isn't short for Tessa or Theresa. In fact her name isn't even Tess, it's Helen.

Tess explained that her agent was "obsessed with Natassja Kinski" who featured in the film Tess, so that was the name that was chosen.
"So Tess it was. I was gullible and impressionable. Mind you, two weeks later I was in Japan then travelled the world. Paris, Milan, New York," she said.
“My mum’s really the only person who still calls me Helen, and that’s not often. She tends to call me ‘love’, so when she does say ‘Helen’ it can take me a while to respond," she told The Weekend.
The presenter added: "I’ve never changed it by deed poll or anything because I think it would be disrespectful to my parents."
Anton Du Beke

According to Anton, his dad was an alcoholic and hated the fact he was a dancer.
On Boxing Day his dad attacked him so viciously that he spent three days in hospital with stab wounds to his leg and stomach.
Les Dennis
Les Dennis used his middle name as his last nameDennis isn't Les's last name, it's his middle name. His full name is Leslie Dennis Heseltine.
He left school in 1972 with one A-level in Art and decided he wanted to be a comedian.
Les started performing in working men's clubs across the north west of England before he made his big break.

Darcey Bussell

Amanda Abbington

She met Martin on the set of Men Only in 2000.

Amanda and Martin, who have two children, a son and a daughter, lived in Hertfordshire before their separation in 2016.
Motsi Mabuse
Motsi Mabuse was born in South AfricaMotsi's real name is actually Motshegetsi Mabuse and she was born in Mankwe.
The name Motshegetsi is said to mean "supporter" in the Bantu language of the Tswana people, which is spoken in South Africa.
Motsi, 40, grew up under apartheid in a township in South Africa which saw her and her sisters forced to take a community minibus to their convent school because they were banned from white public transport.
She previously said that during her formative years she was treated as though she was worth “nothing” in her home country, enduring segregation and racism.
But then she was introduced to dance, which helped her through the painful times of growing up under apartheid.
She said: “I’m so thankful for the world of dance because if I had grown up with just the South African bitterness of the very hard childhood we had, and I’d never experienced the love of the dance world, then I probably would have been a very sad person."
