Britney Spears has reportedly finally confessed to rumours she cheated on Justin Timberlake with dancer Wade Robson.

It's said the songstress' revelation will come to light in her upcoming memoir titled The Woman In Me which is released next week.

For years there were rumours of the Toxic star's infidelity, and it now seems she's ready to bare all in her explosive memoir. The speculation first came about in 2002 when Brit and Justin sensationally split. It was said at the time that the parting came due to Britney hooking up with Wade.

And now, in her memoir, she's said to confess to cheating on the Cry Me A River star once with the choreographer - but says it happened after she found out he had been unfaithful.

According to the Sun, the singer writes an excerpt in her book which reads: "We were out one night and we went to a Spanish bar. We danced and danced. I made out with him that night."

She then claims she had been loyal to Justin throughout their relationship, expect for that "one exception". And she says she openly admitted the incident to Justin at the time, but they were able to move on from it.

It's said when Justin Timberlake released Cry Me A River in 2002 he cruelly used a lookalike of the pop icon in the infamous video and Britney had a telling reaction.

The Toxic hitmaker was stunned by Justin’s video, and revealed he spoke to her about it before it was released, but didn't tell her just how scathing the music video would be. “He called me up and behind it was, 'And by the way, you’re in a video that’s coming out. Don’t worry about it. It’s not a big deal,’” she told Rolling Stone.

"So the record label called and said, 'If you want to change this, you can.' I had the power to say no to the video. But I didn’t, because I thought, 'Hey, it’s your video.' I hadn’t seen it,” Britney explained. “Then it came out, and I said, 'I should’ve freakin’ said no to this s**t!” I was so like, 'Woah. What is going on right now?'”
