STRICTLY judge Motsi Mabuse may have to face her ex-husband in court over allegations that he controlled her.

Timo Kulczak is suing her for £70,000 over claims she made in her autobiography that he restricted her access to cash and even decided what she ate during their 11-year marriage.

A hearing is due to take place in January — and the 45-year-old’s lawyers have applied for a specific order making Motsi’s attendance in court compulsory.

Timo’s lawyers had previously asked the German court in Offenburg to jail Motsi, 42, for up to six months or fine her £250,000 if she ever repeats the claims.

A source said: “The only person who can answer the claims against her is Motsi herself, so it seems Timo’s lawyer now wants her in court in person.

“It would be an incredibly dramatic scene if their marriage ends up being played out in detail in court.

“It now looks like that is going to happen and just shows how strongly Motsi and Timo feel about their version of events.”

But a spokesman for Motsi said: “There is no validity in this story. Motsi is not expected to appear in court and it is untrue that she is threatened with a fine of €290,000 or a prison sentence."
