They had been a sweet staple in many households, with hungry Brits expressing their love for the snack.

And when baffled shoppers could no longer find them, fans urged the company to "please bring these back".
Unfortunately they were met with a crushing response.
Cadbury's X account said: "Hey, Cadbury Snaps have been discontinued, however we still have lots of other chocolatey treats to try."
But, while one of the nation's favourite chocolate brands forgot about the legendary treat - Costco appears to have remembered.
In a bid to save Christmas, the budget retailer has listened to fans' demands and rolled out their dupe.
The packaging is almost identical, and four boxes can be bought for just £8.49.

An eagle-eyed shopper still pining for the discontinued Cadbury snack shared their discovery on X.
"If you remember Cadbury’s snaps you’ll know how gassed I am right now," they commented.
Another claimed a similar alternative can also be found in Aldi - and they offer a range of flavours.
This comes as fans were also delighted to see Cadbury is bringing back its Secret Santa Postal Service that could see you get free chocolate.
Now running for the sixth year, the idea is the same - shoppers order a free bar for their loved ones.
