MADE in Chelsea star Jamie Laing has been blasted after his firm sexualised sweets which are loved by children.

Candy Kittens is selling limited edition bags of Wild Strawberry goodies as part of a hook-up with the hit Netflix series Sex Education.

Parents were left horrified after buying them for young kids who then read them the saucy description on the back of packets.

It claims sweets and sex “go hand in hand”, celebrates “downright dirty times” and shows a “stay curious” condom wrapper.

And hidden among the £3 vegan gummies is a surprise sweet shaped like a sheath.

Carol Reynolds, 65, could not believe her eyes after seeing her granddaughters, aged 11 and 13, eating the treats last Sunday.

Her husband Michael, 68, bought them from their local Co-op in Burgess Hill, West Sussex, without noticing the randy writing.

She said: “I was absolutely horrified.

"It’s completely inappropriate and just so wrong.

"The flavour is a favourite of my eldest granddaughter.

“Jamie Laing should know better as he’s an influencer and reality TV star who a lot of young people will be looking up to.

“They claim their target audience is adults but they must know kids will eat them?

“They’re sold in supermarkets next to Haribo. I’m baffled how anyone approved this as a good idea.”

Medical practice receptionist Carol complained to the gourmet sweets firm and was offered free normal packets as an apology.

The grandmother of five added: “They didn’t seem to get my point. It’s dangerous in the world we live in.

“Have they not thought about the potential impact these words may have on vulnerable children?

“These should be withdrawn from shelves immediately.”

A promo video for the new sweets showed Jamie, 34 - who co-founded the company in 2012 - getting hot under the covers with reality star wife Sophie Habboo, 30.

Other parents fumed online, with one writing in a review on their website: “This is just awful and has completely put me off buying your products.

“I have a 12 year old that eats these, and the wording on the packaging that she is reading out to me is just wrong.

“This doesn’t raise any sort of awareness at all.

"Completely inappropriate for sweets and very disappointing from candy kittens. Not impressed.”

Candy Kittens insists it is proud of the collaboration and allows buyers to make a “fully informed purchasing decision” by applying it to only one product.

A spokesman said: “Our target audience is and has always been young adults - never children.”
