They took to X to slam the relationship therapists for not offering advice more geared towards Ella fixing her issues.
One said: "Not the experts asking Ella what SHE needs from JJ when she was the one who was toxic when drunk!"
Married At First Sight star unrecognisable as she transforms for New Year's EveAnother agreed: "Ella needs some help away from the show. Her behaviour is truly toxic."
A concerned fan wrote: "Ella shouldn’t be on MAFS, she needs to be in 1-1 intensive therapy."
A worried viewer seconded the sentiment, adding: "Ella is a troubled girl who seems like she needs help controlling her alcohol use…a lot of young women might actually relate to her? I completely get the feeling of being out of control whilst drinking it’s scary…I’m sad for her I hope u get better soon Ella xx"
Ella's former MAFS husband Nathanial, who had been paired with her by the experts, had also mentioned similar issues with her drinking.
A few people watching the Channel 4 dating show pointed out that there was a pattern of behaviour there, backing the events manager for his decision to walk away from the relationship.
One joked: "Sooo…seems like Nathanial wasn’t the problem after all was he Ella?"
Someone else shared: "So Nathaniel knew exactly why he wasn't into Ella. Her personality doesn't come across as particularly nice, especially under the influence of alcohol!"
A third mentioned: "Nathaniel did say that Ella has an alcohol problem and that he went to bed alone most nights."
