Helen Flanagan groaned in frustration as she revealed her courtesy car had broken down.

The Coronation Street star, 33, crashed her £70,000 Audi over the weekend. She was out pumpkin picking with her children Matilda, seven Delilah, four, and Charlie, two, when the incident occurred. On Saturday, she took to her Instagram page to share the unfortunate update with her followers and said her father had to pick up the children from her ex Scott Sinclair as she couldn't use her car.

She told followers she reversed into a piece of wood "because I can't park to save my life." While her car is being repaired, the actress has been driving around in a courtesy car. However, her bad luck with vehicles didn't end with the temporary car as it broke down while she was in it.

The frustrated star shared a short clip on her Instagram Stories and said: "This isn’t normal, I broke down in my courtesy car," as she held back tears. She captioned the video: "Why am I such a mess?"

After crashing her lavish car over the weekend, Helen told her 1 million social media followers: "My dad's just gone to get the children. I couldn't go, I couldn't drive, it wasn't a big deal but I crashed my car. The kids were fine, I was fine but I was pumpkin picking and all I did was reverse into a piece of wood because I can't park to save my life.

"I just thought I'd scratched my car but I've taken the whole of my bonnet off. Wow, and my car's new." In October, more bad luck occurred in her £70k when she accidentally dropped a precious family heirloom. She was in a state of panic when the rings of the sentimental necklace fell between the seats.

Her grandmother had worn the special piece of jewellery before she tragically passed away. Taking to her Instagram Stories, she panicked and explained: "I went to London the other week, I wanted to borrow my mum's necklace. She has this really nice Cartier love necklace. I asked my mum if I could borrow it because it matched my outfit.

"Long story short, when my nana wasn't well, during COVID, she was in the hospital, I gave her the necklace because I knew I couldn't see her so I wanted her to wear it. When my nana passed away she had the necklace. My mum then wanted the necklace because my nana used to wear it.

The soap actress continued: "There's three rings on this necklace. I said to my mum, be really careful so that the rings do not come off. When she passed me the necklace they just literally fell."
