The Shropshire man, who is only known as Mr E, said he'd already planned what he was going to do with his winnings.

He said he'd splashed some cash at a brand new static caravan - which he intends to now make the most of.

Mr E said the £486,876 in EuroMillions winnings meant he was also now set up for retirement.

While lucky punters have the option of remaining anonymous or only sharing minimal details, not all keep it a secret.

Neil Jones has told of how he had just £13 in his bank account before he scooped £2.4million.

The 59-year-old and partner Julie Kirkham found out they'd won the life-changing sum just before Christmas 2010.

And the couple recently revealed why they didn't spend a penny for weeks.

Neil also revealed that his first purchase - a pool table - will now see him represent the country in the sport.

He said “Winning the lottery allowed me to put those hours in.

"If I didn’t win, I wouldn’t have been able to buy the table, I wouldn’t have had the time — I’d still be on my hands and knees tiling.

“I can’t wait to fly out to Malta, put on that England shirt and lead the team out.”

Another woman who landed £1m on People's Postcode Lottery even recently opened up about her want to spend her entire jackpot on a hobby - garden gnomes.

Joan Buckingham says her obsession with the terracotta garden dwellers drives her family "insane".

But she couldn't care less and is gearing up to add more pointy-hatted miniatures to her already 40-strong army.

The 74-year-old said of her win: "It’s unbelievable and absolutely beautiful.

"I’ve never needed much. I just really enjoy collecting and painting ornaments for my garden."

Meanwhile, the National Lottery is still hunting down a lucky winner who's yet to claim their prize.

The Brit unknowingly scooped the prize in a draw after buying their ticket in London this month.

The player is currently missing out as they could be watching thousands of pounds pour into their bank account each month for a year.
