THE main perk of being a flight attendant is getting to see the world as part of our job.
I've been here, there and everywhere, all as a nice bonus of just turning up for work - and I absolutely love it.
But there are definitely destinations that some of us aren't in any hurry to head back to, including one we're all pretty keen to avoid.

It's funny, every flight attendant wants to go down under when they first join, but it doesn't take long for them to realise why it's such an unpopular route among the rest of their colleagues.
Don't get me wrong, it's a lovely country and I don't think there's anything inherently wrong with it, but there's nothing there that's worth flying 24 hours to see, trust me.
I remember the first time I got Sydney on my roster and I was so excited about it, but no one should ever spend that long on a plane.
There's only so many films you can watch and so many hours you can spend struggling to fall asleep, cramped up next to strangers.
It's a horrible flight and one I wouldn't wish on anyone.
Then, after the ordeal of the journey, you arrive to something that's honestly not that different to the UK.
It's culturally pretty similar and, although the weather's a bit nicer over there, it's still an experience that is definitely not worth the airfare, never mind the accommodation costs on top.
What's more, the time difference is an absolute killer.
Us flight attendants all have our own clever ways in which we manage to get over jet lag a bit quicker than passengers, but Australia is a tough place to adapt to.
I've met passengers flying out and and then seen them again on the return flight a week later and they tell me that they couldn't get to grips with the time difference at all.

It just completely ruins the holiday for some people, who go around sightseeing, completely exhausted, wanting to sleep instead.
It's definitely not a place you can just go to for a week or two, but some people think they can do it.
If you do insist on visiting, do it for more than a couple of weeks because it will take you time to adjust and before you know it, you're on your plane back home.
But even if you're planing on a longer trip, I'd still advise spending your money on going elsewhere instead because it's so expensive.
Not just the flights and the hotels, but everything else on top, and even though it's on the other side of the world, it's just really similar.
The main difference is that Australia has way more animals that can kill you than the UK, which ruins some of the perks.
Why go to a place with warm seas, when they're full of massive sharks?
Then on the land, there's spiders and snakes and all sorts that can get you, that we just don't have to worry about in the UK.
Meanwhile, we have pretty much everything else they have over there - Starbucks, McDonalds and pretty much everything you'd get in any other Western country.
I know plenty of Brits love it out there and that's fine, to each their own, but I can't get my head around why.
The Sydney Harbour Bridge is just the Tyne Bridge, but thousands of miles away.
So save yourself the bother and a load of money and head to Newcastle instead. It'll be cheaper, but probably much more enjoyable.
