JAKE Quickenden came second place to Carl Fogarty when he took part in I'm A Celeb back in 2014.

Now, as twelve new famous faces take on the jungle once again, the former contestant has lifted the lid on how strict the rules are in the jungle.

Jake explained that rules are so strict in camp that producers even confiscated a game he'd made.

Speaking to New Magazine about the rules, he revealed: "I made chequers from cardboard, but they took it off me."

The singer was left furious when he saw that last year's winner Jill Scott was allowed a real football to play with in camp.

"Jill Scott got to keep her football. I was fuming," He added.

At the time of his appearance on the ITV show, Jake was only known for his brief stint on X Factor.

He entered the jungle back in December 2014 and was instantly a fan favourite.

The singer was known for his cheeky attitude and won over the public and his fellow campmates.

He placed second after series winner Carl “Foggy” Fogarty and said the experience was "amazing" and a "great opportunity".

Since his time in the jungle, Jake has gone on to forge a hugely successful career – winning Dancing on Ice in 2018 and appearing as a regular on This Morning.

The new series of I'm a Celeb kicks off on Sunday, November 19, with twelve famous faces.

The line-up includes an ex-EastEnders actress, a This Morning presenter and a Made in Chelsea star, who are all set to bring fun and chaos to our screens.

Ant and Dec will once again be heading down under for presenting duties.
