SHROPSHIRE was the scene of one moment of madness that was to completely change three lives in an instant.
Tragic events unfolded after Andrew Hooper turned up at his estranged wife's home on the night of January 26, 2018.
Who is Andrew Hooper?
Andrew Hooper, known as Jack to friends, is the estranged husband of Cheryl Hooper.
It was believed that he had suspected she was having an affair and had fitted a tracker to her vehicle without her knowledge.
Hooper followed her to a pub in Wolverhampton where she was with friends and what he suspected to be her lover.

Arriving at her house later that evening, Hooper saw his e x-wife sitting outside her home in her Land Rover and approached the vehicle.
He was said to have had a murderous look in his eyes, and in a fit of jealousy smashed the window, and proceeded to shoot her twice.
She died from the wounds inflicted.
Her 14-year-old daughter was witness to the incident as Hooper shoot her mum in the neck.
Hooper fled the scene and later claimed he had only come over with the intent of frightening her into leaving the other man and reconciling their marriage.
Where is Andrew Hooper now?
Hooper was given a life sentence in 2019 after being found guilty of murdering his wife after a trial at Birmingham Crown Court.
It is not known where Hooper is currently serving his life sentence.
He was given a suspended sentence in 2004, after he broke into his first wife's home and threatened to kill her.
Hooper was said to be manipulative and controlling when in a relationship with Cheryl and this continued despite their split.

Hooper will serve no less than a minimum of 31 years in prison.

While he was sentenced to life imprisonment the judge ensured that the stipulation was put in place to ensure a minimum term.
It was said that he showed no remorse for his actions whatsoever, during or after the incident.
Investigators believed that his actions were planned that evening and he went there with the intent to hurt Cheryl Hooper.
The judge said "This was not a spur-of-the-moment killing, it was one that you [Hooper] had planned in the hours leading up to it. I am sure it was your intention to kill."
He noted Hooper, who showed no emotion at the unanimous guilty verdict, had not expressed any remorse or regret after leaving a "horrific aftermath" when he fled the scene.
After murdering his estranged wife, Hooper then turned the gun on himself in a botched suicide attempt.
As a result of the incident, he has been left with significant, life changing injuries.
He was not able to speak at the trial, having to resort to pointing at words on a card to communicate.
In January 2023, a never-before-seen clip featured in new documentary A Murder in The Family, showed Hooper admitting to the killing of his wife from his hospital bed.
Cheryl's daughter Georgia, is now speaking out for women who are victims of domestic abuse.
Talking about the long bouts of abuse she witnessed, Georgia said: "It's like carbon monoxide poisoning."
"You can't see it, you can't smell it and you can't taste it, until it's too late."
