ADAM Thomas has revealed he dropped to the floor and cried during an emotional unseen moment on Strictly Come Dancing.

The Waterloo Road star took to the audio airwaves in the latest episode of his podcast Mancs on the Mic, along with his sibling.

The three Thomas brothers, Ryan, 39, Adam, 35 and entrepreneur and former Love Island star Scott, 35, discussed the actors' latest dance.

The Strictly personality admitted that he was worried about dancing badly with professional partner Luba Mushtuk, 33, in their Backstreet Boys ‘couple’s choice’ dance.

So he resorted to asking his brothers to help him by voting for him as he explained: "I didn't think it was my best performance if I'm being truly honest with myself.

"That was genuinely the first time I've ever asked for my brothers to vote for me, that’s how bad it was."

However, entrepreneur Scott couldn't believe his brother could move the way he did, as he exclaimed: "It was unbelievable and the fact that you can move that quick and you knew that choreography."

Although Adam revealed that he relied heavily on the guidance of his professional dance partner.

"I mean, I didn't really know it, …throughout the whole dance I was just looking at Luba going, ‘what am I doing next?’."

He added: "We got through it. I got a nine…, I didn't expect to get the results that I’d gotten."

However Scott thought his scores reflected that fact that it may not have been the best technically, however he showed off a lot of character.

He explained: "I tell you why that was your best performance, because you gave that charisma you actually gave that energy where you just threw yourself into it.

"I think it was a lot of emotions, obviously people don't know this at home but you broke down crying, you were watching the VT in the studio and then you broke down."

And Adam then revealed how he struggled to contain his emotions whilst waiting in the BBC studio as he said: "I watched the VT and obviously you can hear it in the studio and everyone can watch it on the screen and literally seconds before I was about to do the dance."

He added: "I was on my knees crying and then the whole crowd was going ‘come on Adam you can do it…’ , and they [announcement] went ‘and dancing, the de de de, Adam and Luba!,’ I just had to pull it together last minute."

Although he gave a good performance, he found himself facing elimination in the dance off alongside Zara McDermott, 26, and Graziano di Prima, 29.

Zara and Graziano were eliminated from the competition after losing the dance-off to Adam and Luba - this decision was down to the judges.

It was Adam and Luba's recreation of their American Smooth to Magic Moments by Perry Como, that saved them.
