Parents are scrambling to get to their nearest Tesco, desperate to nab last minute Halloween costumes that are scanning at just 4p.

So if you’ve got a little girl who’s cat obsessed and loves getting dressed up, you’ll need to check this out.

Kat Pearson was left stunned when she was shopping in her local Tesco in Blackpool, when she spotted that the little girl’s Halloween outfits had been massively reduced.

Using the Tesco scanner, Kat scanned a beautiful cat jumper and tutu set, which was originally marked as £22.

However, the cute costume scanned as ‘reduced to clear’ and had been slashed to just 4p - yes, you heard that correctly.

Thrilled with her find, Kat took to social media to alert other parents.

Posting on Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, a private Facebook group with a staggering 2.3 million members, Kat shared a picture of her reduced costumes, as well as a picture of the scanner to prove the slashed price.

Kat said: “Tesco Blackpool. 4p outfits.

“Was really chuffed when [I] scanned on the handheld scanner and [they] came up at 4p!”

The two-piece outfit is complete with a cream cat jumper and a black tutu.

Not only is this look great for Halloween, but many added that they thought the jumper would be great for winter too.

The Tesco shopper shared her post just nine hours ago, but it has clearly left many very impressed, as it has quickly amassed 122 likes and 66 comments.

Social media users were stunned at the reduced outfit and were eager to alert their friends and family to the epic discount.

One person tagged a group of loved ones and said: “If any of you are going there today may be worth a look.”

Another added: “Worth it just for [the] jumper.”

A third tagged a friend and commented: “We will have to go.”

Someone else tagged a family member and penned: “Go to Tesco [today]! If you do go, have a look for a witches hat please.”

At the same time, another user tagged a loved one and asked: “Can you have a look next time you go please. Need a few Halloween outfits for next year's holiday.”

Meanwhile, someone else wrote: “AW22 I believe means autumn winter 2022 stock, so it’s old stock from last year.”

Whilst another parent explained: “I wished we had a Tesco near mine, my daughter would have loved this.”
