A former member of S Club Juniors looks a world away from her popstar self when she used to share a stage with Loose Women star Frankie Bridge and This Morning presenter Rochelle Humes.
Former popstar Stacey Franks might be more focused on family life than trying to top the charts, but that doesn't mean she's given up on performing forever. The singer and mum of one revealed there has been a call in the past for S Club Juniors, the spin-off from S Club, to reform and perform again.
S Club Juniors was formed in 2001 through a reality television show and originally consisted of ten members, including Frankie and Rochelle before whittling down to eight. The band produced songs such as Automatic High and Puppy Love, before splitting in 2004.
Nowadays former member Stacey is married to ex-professional footballer Fraser Franks, who she wed in 2017, and spends her time with their daughter Nellie and dog Nori. Stacey also appears a budding entrepreneur as she runs two businesses, an online clothing store for children called Little Franks and a womenswear brand Missy Franks.
Stacey has previously delighted fans as she appeared to still keep in contact with some of her former bandmates. The group consisted of five others alongside Stacey, Frankie and Rochelle including Aaron Renfree, Jay Asforis, Daisy Evans, Calvin Goldspink and Hannah Richings.
Frankie Bridge hits back at criticism as she shares snap of puppy wearing nappyIn a recent Instagram snap, Stacey posed alongside Aaron Renfree and S Club member Rachel Stevens with Aaron sharing another snap alongside Hannah and Jay. The pics caused fans of the early noughties group to beg for a reunion, as one wrote: "Sclub junior’s please come back." Another added: "We need a s club junior reunion." A third commented: "No the child in me is screaming right now."
The idea of a reunion isn't a pipe dream either, as Stacey appeared on a podcast for an interview to mark 20 years since S Club Juniors burst onto the music scene and ignited hopes for a possible reunion in future.
She told listeners: "There's been a lot of interest in us doing a reunion and The Big Reunion wanted us but it had to be everyone involved, bar Rochelle and Frankie because they were still in The Saturdays. But not everybody wanted to do it. Everyone is so busy."
