Other ambassadors for UFL include Kevin De Bruyne, Romelu Lukaku, Roberto Firmino, and Oleksander Zinchenko.
In a statement Ronaldo, 38, said: “I’m thrilled to be a part of this project as UFL can become the new breed in football gaming.”
The plan will also see Ronaldo involved in UFL’s development as the game attempts to set a new standard in football games.
Currently, the most popular FIFA rival is Konami’s free-to-play eFootball.

UFL is just one of a number of games still in development that have hopes of taking the football gaming crown.
Early footage has interested fans, and it has already completed its first major closed test.
As well as Ronaldo himself, UFL has managed to licence a number of key players for use in the game.
UFL says it wants to move away from any pay-to-win aspects and focus purely on skill.
