A JUST Stop Oil fanatic makes a plank of himself yesterday as he is hauled straight to a police van.

The eco loon tensed his body when he was hauled from a march broken up by officers in Whitehall.

The climate zealots have threatened to cause traffic chaos in the capital, with daily slow marches from Trafalgar Square.

But the first was broken up within five minutes, with 15 arrests under Section Seven of the Public Order Act — clamping down on protesters who “recklessly interfere with national infrastructure”.

The Met Police has now made nearly 500 JSO arrests since October 30, and charged more than 200 people.

The group have pledged to march from Trafalgar Square every day, starting yesterday, in a bid to get the Government to stop new oil and gas licences.

They have not commented on Monday’s action, instead posting a rambling article about how “the world’s richest 1 per cent causing more carbon emissions than the poorest 66 per cent”.

The group wrote: “Is this really news? In the UK we have a billionaire PM who travels by private jet and wants to license 100+ new oil and gas projects for his mates — while everyone else tries to recycle their oat milk cartons.”
