The streaming giant’s reality version of the global hit drama about a fight-to-the-death contest is out worldwide today.

Fans from Europe, the US and Australia flew into the UK to compete for millions in prize money in Squid Game: The Challenge.

One says she suffered hypothermia and another claims his hands turned purple from cold.

Another complained of nerve damage.

Daniel Slade, of Express Solicitors, is supervising the claims against production company Studio Lambert.

He said: “Contestants thought they were taking part in something fun and those injured did not expect to suffer as they did.”

The opening game was being filmed in January at an ex-RAF base in Bedford when contestants started to feel unwell in the cold.

A show spokesman said no lawsuit had been filed, adding: “We take the welfare of contestants extremely seriously.”

We told in January of the freezing nightmare, with at least one person stretchered off.
