But that wasn't long after the real heart-in-mouth tie in Portugal, when they needed over 1.5 goals in the game between Sporting and Porto.
Porto took the lead with half an hour to go and that looked like being it, until Pepe's 94th minute goal made it 2-0 to keep the miraculous punt alive - though Sporting did score five minutes later.
