HINGE is one of the most popular dating apps around - especially among those looking for a meaningful relationship.
The app is part of the Match Group which also owns Tinder and PlentyOfFish.

How exactly does Hinge work?
Hinge goes beyond the simple photos, name, age and bio-type profile setup that you swipe left or right on.

All that is there, but you also need to fill it with quirky content known as Prompts.
These encourage you to reveal more about your personality, answering things like "I Want Someone Who…" or "The Most Spontaneous Thing I've Done…".
You have to fill out at least three to set up a profile, so get thinking.
Similar to many other apps, Hinge will show you one user at a time and allow you to scroll through their profile.
You - and others who land on your profile - can like a Prompt, which sets things in motion.
How do you get matches on Hinge?
You will have to tap the heart icon next to someone's profile Prompt to show interest in them - and vice versa for others who are interested in you.
You'll also get a chance to add a comment.
Alternatively you can upgrade and send a rose, which shows someone you're really interested in them and bumps you to the top of their feed.
After this, the recipient can choose to accept you and the conversation can begin.
