The 41-year-old Strictly Come Dancing professional and the 25-year-old former Love Island contestant welcomed they daughter, named Havana, two months ago. In the weeks since their little bundle of joy arrived, the couple - who became engaged in April - have been getting to grips with being parents.
But while Neil admits he has been doing plenty of work as a day - pulling in night shifts and helping with the feeding - he is absolutely glowing while talking about Chyna and how she is adjusting to being a mum. The dance star can’t say more positive words about the reality star - who was a contestants on ITV2’s Love Island just a year ago, featuring in the same season as Gemma Owen, Davide Sanclimenti and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu.
Opening up about their new lives to OK! Magazine, Neil gushed: "Chyna has been brilliant... She’s such a natural mother and knows so much. If I’m ever not sure how we do something, she has the answers. Parenthood is tiring, but it’s exciting."
He went on: “I don’t get too much sleep – especially last night. Chyna had an early morning today, so I took the nighttime shift. But it’s worth every moment."
What Ola and James Jordan really ate and did to shed 7stNeil explained that he is besotted with his child - and he and Chyna are both unsure who she looks more like. He explained: “When I’m feeding her, I’ll just look at her and think, ‘How did I create you?... I look at Chyna and I think, ‘Yeah, she’s Chyna’s daughter, that makes sense. But this girl is too pretty to be my daughter!’ I think she looks like Chyna, but Chyna thinks she looks like me – so we don’t know. She’s only a couple of months old, so it’s hard to say.”
Back in October, and not long after Havana arrived, Neil explained the adorable rationale behind his daughter’s name. He told HELLO! Magazine: “Cuba is the home of dance and very multicultural so it was perfect; it sums us up. She has dancer's feet… It would be amazing if she wants to be a dancer... But she can be whatever she wants to be.”
While Chyna chimed in to the conversation to explain: “We've been watching Neil on Strictly from home. I told her, 'Look, it's Daddy on the screen' and at that moment, she did these little smiles with her eyes closed.”
Chyna has been doting over her daughter - and sharing content for her fans and social media followers to fawn over. In a recent Instagram post, the new mum shared a video of her baby girl laughing and smiling while seated in a baby cushion.
She gushed: "My baby is growing up so fast. Last night she slept through the night and and she woke up smiling as per usual. It’s so wholesome to watch her grow! She’s the most gorgeous girl and I absolutely love and adore he." Fans were delighted by the footage, with one writing in response: "Gorgeous blessing.. So happy for you."
