MORE than a thousand reports of an outage on Trainline rolled in on Tuesday, November 28, sparking outrage from users on social media.
The train company spoke out in light of these reports - here we take a look at what they have said and what customers can do.

According to Downdetector, a site which manages outages and provides live alerts, more than 1000 users of the Trainline app have experienced issues today (Tuesday, November 28, 2023).
According to Trainline, the issue is caused by 'technical difficulties,' though the exact issue has not been specified.
However, over 60 per cent of users reported problems directly affecting the app, while 30% experienced difficulties with ticketing.

One wrote: ''I have a ticket but can’t download it - any advice on what to do? Will the ticket be honoured even though I obviously can’t get through the barrier at the station?''
A second fumed: ''How many more times this month?!''
Meanwhile, a third added: ''Literally a joke at this point.''
This is the third app outage the company has faced this month.
On November 3, 2023, Trainline took to social media to advise customers of an earlier outage.
The post read: ''We're experiencing technical difficulties on our app and website which means some customers may be unable to search for or book rail and coach journeys.
''We're very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause however please be assured we're working hard to fix it.''
A similar situation occurred only a week later on November 7, 2023.
The Trainline app is designed to allow customers the opportunity to plan their journey ahead.

When will the Trainline app be back up?
Following the vast amount of reports made via both Downdetector and social media, Trainline first confirmed that they were working to fix the issue.
On X, formerly known as Twitter, the company said: "We’re experiencing technical difficulties with our app and website which means some customers may be unable to search for or book rail and coach journeys.
"We’re very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause however please be assured we’re working hard to fix it."
Customers affected by any problems or outages are advised to keep an eye out on both Trainline's social media platforms and website for more information as it is released.
Trainline also provides an option for app and website users to contact the customer service team.
