When he returned to Omaha in 1959, Munger met Buffett through an investor client of the latter; the duo went on to become best friends.

He also became chairman of the Daily Journal Corporation and a director of Costco Wholesale Corporation.
Munger’s firm was a part of Bill Gates and Melinda French's divorce proceedings, where he represented the former.
