When she originally played the role, the character was known for being a sassy teenager, who was the daughter of art teacher Izzie Redpath (Jill Halfpenny) who was killed in a stabbing.
In the 2023 reboot of Waterloo, Chlo was all grown up with children of her own.

She remained playing Chlo Grainger for four series, before leaving in 2009.

Katie's last TV role was in BBC soap, Doctors.
