THE gunman who killed Elle Edwards outside a pub on Christmas Eve had waited for an hour in its car park, it was claimed yesterday.
Beautician Elle, 26, is thought to have been hit by accident when her killer fired a dozen shots at 11.50pm before fleeing in a black Mercedes.

Four men were injured in the attack at the packed Lighthouse Inn, in Wallasey, Merseyside.
The car park theory, reported locally, was not denied by police.
A man aged 30, arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder, was released under investigation but then recalled to prison for breaching his licence.

Another man of 31, plus a woman of 19, have been bailed.
Police said they have made more than 20 further arrests in a crackdown on general crime in the area.
They’ve also made 56 stop searches and six vehicles were seized over the three-day period.
A statement released by Elle’s heartbroken dad Tim last week said: “We will love and miss her forever.

“Our Elle May, the most beautiful and bright star out there, forever and always.”
The investigation is ongoing.
