SKY customers may be missing out on a free movie upgrade hidden on their account.

Bargain hunters have noticed that an offer is tucked away on the MySky app.

It gives selected subscribers free six months access to Paramount+.

The streaming service is home to big name movies and hit TV series.

But it's not available to everyone, so you'll need to check first.

Just open the MySky app and tap the Sky VIP button along the bottom.

Look for Giveaways and see if Paramount+ is listed.

"Wasn't showing for me until I tapped on Giveaways and then both Apple and Paramount+ appeared," one user wrote on HotUKDeals.

"Yes me too! Nice one," another said.

But not everyone is so lucky.

"No offer for me," a third customer commented.

After the six months you'll be charged at the normal monthly rate of £6.99 - so be sure to cancel it before if you don't wish to continue.

It's not the first time Sky has dished out free access to Paramount+.

If you've redeemed the offer from the company before you won't be eligible for it this time around.

Other ways to save on Paramount+

If you're not eligible for the freebie, Paramount are running a limited offer at the moment.

Until January 2, viewers can get access to the service for half price for a whole year.

That makes it £34.95 instead of £69.90.

The offer is available on the Paramount+ website.
