ONE of the best-selling games of all the time, previously thought to be unbeatable, has finally been finished.

Not only that, but it was finally beaten by a teenage boy, who picked up the game around a year ago.

Known by the username Blue Scuti, the 13-year-old was playing Tetris for the Nintendo Entertainment System, a version of the classic game released around 35 years ago.

His score maxed out at 1million points around seven minutes into playing, but Blue Scuti was far from done.

He continued to play for around 40 minutes, clearing 1511 lines, and reaching level 157.

Not only is Scuti the first person to ever beat Tetris for the NES, but he also achieved the highest ever score in the process.

At this time the game crashed as it reached the maximum limit possible, and finally someone had beaten Tetris.

It was previously thought that players could theoretically play Tetris forever as levels advance and the blocks get faster.

Computers had completed the game before, but it seemed impossible that a human could beat it.

Many had reached the top score before, but Scuti’s ‘blue screen of death’ finally shows that a human can actually beat Tetris.

Blue Scuti is obviously ecstatic as the game crashes, becoming the first-ever person to complete Tetris for NES.

After several minutes, Blue Scuti, in shock as to what he has achieved, calls in his mum to show her the game, before she gives him a high five.

He said that one of the hardest parts of achieving this feat was keeping his nerves after 30 minutes of play when he knew he was closing in on the end of the game.

Blue Scuti has said that he will continue to play Tetris, hoping to get to the end of the game even faster.

In an interview on the Classic Tetris YouTube channel Blue Scuti said: “If you set your mind to something and you put work into it, it’s likely you will get it if you try hard enough.”

He dedicated the run to his father who passed away late last year.
